Newpoint Financial Corp (NPFC) is a financial holding company and strategic acquisition vehicle and its intention is to mitigate risk by maintaining financial assets and sufficient reserves to support itself and its wholly owned subsidiaries.

We are principally targeting strategic acquisitions and investments in businesses delivering or supporting international trade credit and structured financial products to commercial enterprises on a domestic or international basis. The target businesses will be primarily operating in international banking or investment fund or financial institution or the insurance sector.

Our vision is to create a holding company which has interests in and or controls a number of businesses which involve financial products and services to enable and support international trade and finance.

The Leadership team are drawn from Newpoint Capital. They bring nearly 100 years business experience between them.

Founding Shareholder of Newpoint Capital Ltd, London UK. Executive Directo specializing skill set is Trade Credit & Structured Products with over 37 years in the financial sector, holding several senior corporate positions in operations.

Newpoint Capital’s focus is providing commercial Indemnity & Guarantees to corporate entities. Newpoint Financial Corp was founded as a Investment Holding Company which acquired Newpoint Capital Ltd at the end of 2019.

He is the founder of Newpoint Financial Corp, holding the position of Chief Executive Officer, and Director. In addition, he serves as a Director in Newpoint Capital Ltd, where he is responsible for Deal Origination & Architecture.

Andrew Bye ACII, SIRM

Chief Risk Officer, and Director

He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner ACII and, SIRM. A Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and The Institute of Risk Management. Andy has over 30 years’ experience of risk management, insurance, and structured finance.

He has worked in a number of industry sectors throughout the world, in both ‘hands on’ and management capacities.

He has held senior management roles in the Commercial Sector encompassing – Head of Risk Management & Insurance for a number of leading multinationals including O2 Plc, Anglo American, Argos/Home Retail Group, Transport Development Group, Glaxo SmithKline, and Waste Recycling Group. He was responsible for risk management activities across the business, pioneering an embedded enterprise-wide approach to risk. Including, using risk management as tool to enhance competitive advantage and become more efficient. He has reported into PLC Board’s.

Andy has amassed a huge breadth of practical risk and insurance experience, right from the setting Risk Frameworks, to Global Insurance Programme Design, implementation, operations and dealing with business emergencies. Furthermore, he has worked in the Financial Services Sector, including Underwriting, Claims, Broking and Investment Finance.

He remains actively involved with the Chartered Insurance Institute and Institute of Risk Management, where he has led working groups, in particular was instrumental in designing, leading and promoting “Risk Play” across the IRM to fellow practitioners. He actively supports the “Discover Risk Project” rolled out to Schools and Colleges in the UK, promoting the profession.

Andy has setup and managed niche insurance companies and special purpose risk
vehicles, in Lloyds, the UK and Overseas, and served as a Director in several of these including holding Financial Service Approved Controller positions. He has also shared his knowledge in a consulting capacity to a number of businesses in the UK and overseas, as well as actively participated in a technical capacity, lead workshops and study groups within The Institute of Risk Management.

He is a founding shareholder of Newpoint Financial Corp, holding the position of Chief Risk Officer, and Director. In addition, he serves as Director in Newpoint Capital Ltd and Newpoint Indemnity, holding responsibilities including Risk and Operations.

Thi A.H. Nguyen JD

Chief Legal Officer

He has been an attorney for 17 years and brings with him not only years of practical knowledge but experiences and skills that go beyond the actual practice of law.

He began his career in the Office of the Governor under former Governor Gary Locke. As an attorney assisting the Governor’s General Counsel, Thi gained familiarity with government protocol and lawmaking. He was appointed by Governor Locke and served on the State’s Commission on Asian and Pacific American Affairs to represent and advise the Governor on issues that affect this demographic.

He also was a delegate on several trade missions with Governor Locke and the State’s Secretary of State Sam Reed to China and Vietnam.  Thi met with high level government officials and assisted Washington State private companies promote their goods and execute contracts with their Asian counterparties.

Thi built upon his experience in the public sector and transitioned to the priate practice of law. He would go on to represent large Vietnamese companies that include a cement manufacturer, textiles company, pharmaceutical distributor, and import/exporters with aspects of international commerce.  In assisting international clients, he also gained knowledge of financial instruments utilized in trade, financing, banking, and regulatory law.

Domestically in the US, Thi represented private lenders, real estate developers, and builders in various capacities.  In EB-5 and other project development, he was responsible for governmental approvals, organizing the capital stack and arranging mezzanine financing.  On behalf of lenders, he drafted loan documentation and performed due diligence of the projects and borrowers.

Thi has a global worldview and has a keen insight of how geopolitics affects the business and financial world.  

As NPFC’s Chief Legal Officer he is responsible for oversight of the Company’s global legal strategy.

He received his law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and dual undergraduate degrees  in Political Science and SE Asian Studies from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Charlotte Green

Executive Assistant

Charlotte has graduated with a BA Honours degree in History and Politics after studying for three years at Queen Mary University of London.

She is a conscientious Company Secretary with over 3 years of extensive and diverse experience in supporting senior executives, providing high level support to Board level Directors/CEO within the financial sector. Charlotte often meets with clients and interfaces with the Shareholders of the Company.

She is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Newpoint Financial Corp and its subsidiaries by working closely with all the executive team on various mergers and acquisitions, legal and marketing projects.
